Le Petit Manoir is a delightful large old country farmhouse that was part of a 17th Century Chateau. It is surrounded by fields, woodlands and stunning views for peace, tranquility and relaxation. Situated in superb rolling countryside with outstanding views down the valley you need look no further for a relaxing holiday. For those who enjoy nature you may be able to see some deer, pine martins or the many birds who inhabit the surroundings. If it is adventure you are seeking, 10 mins drive down the road is the Bungy Jumping site of the Valley of the Souleuvre. From the viaduct you can Swing, Scable or Jump. There is also an adventure playground for our younger guests. |

The comfortable old house has a rustic charm; there are five large bedrooms. The master bedroom has a four poster bed, wardrobe chairs and en-suite shower room. Next to this is bedroom 2 with bunk beds and a single bed, chest of draws, children's toys and a box-seat. Bedroom 3 has bunk beds, chest of draws, wardrobe and more children's toys. Then there is the family bathroom, bath with shower over, toilet and wash basin; also a baby changing table with baby bath. Bedroom 4 is next with a double bed and single, wardrobe, chest of draws etc. If needed there are also 2 cots available and a moses basket crib including bedding. Downstairs is a 5th bedroom with double bed, wardrobe, chest of draws etc. Next to this is a shower/wet-room suitable for wheelchair access with toilet and washbasin. The open plan lounge, dining room, kitchen opens onto the back garden where you will find a large table to seat 12 people plus a smaller one for 6 people, a gazebo with hammock and swing seat, plus a large parasol BBQ etc. There is a well equipped kitchen with electric oven, gas hob, extractor fan, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine and many other small appliances. The dining room has a table which seats 12 people and high chair if needed, and in the lounge a wood burning stove for those cozy cooler evenings, that not only keeps the whole house warm, it looks nice as well. Attached to the house there is a laundry room with sink, washing machine and tumble dryer. |
